So after two years of studying for psychology,I've come to a "temporary" setback, I didn't get enough points to be allowed to continue, so what now?
It's the only course that actually interests me, mostly because of paul ekmans work....
Any suggestions for another course that might parallel psychology ?

I made a css mod up.
Well it wasn't so much a mod as a side game.
It consisted of pissing off French players and had an extensive points based scoring and promotion system.
I had the most "wombats". Which is when you piss someone off so much they team attack you then tk you and get autokicked. That's 3 points.
I made general

My resit results were posted from today onwards, I WONDER WHAT I GOT?!?!?
I wish, I'm doing this for a second year and no resit possibility, so on that end I got screwed, still no idea what course might be relevant/similar.Uzique wrote:

Good on ya for passing the year btw
What would you suggest as a substitute perhaps ?

Although the theory behind those both are quite similar to psychology, it's more for the practical side I wanted to (try) for a degree in psychology, so eventually I might be doing some research into the field of body language, like picking up where Ekman left it ...Uzique wrote:

do a degree in the social sciences, anyway. some of them are more practical or research oriented.
check your universities undergraduate study brochure.

Will do, I'll make an appointment with the studies advisor and see what they got to say/advise...Uzique wrote:

Might take a look into Sociology, haven't really sat and taken the materials under advisement.Jenspm wrote:
Not necessarily a direct parallel, but you might enjoy Sociology.. Worth a look anyway.
edit- if that's a course over there, wherever you are..
edit2 - wow, über slow
O well, I'll see what the future brings, life never hands you a situation that you can't handle.
good attitude. i was close to looking at restarting a university course elsewhere / repeating, too.
at the end of the day, university is the best time of your life and an extra year or two won't kill you, in the long run
