[PROBLEM FIXED ojeeehhh]
Yesterday i saw bf1942 WW2 Anthology pack in the stores and bought it for fun.

I installed patched it to the newest version and played.
When i was done with bf1942 i wanted to play bf2.

And this is what happend>

OMG wtf did bf1942 fucked up my bf2???? w000000t

So now iam unistalling bf1942 i see what happens... :S
AAAand i found out that bf1942 has a unistall bug so i have to do a hell alot of thing to do for a stupid unistall....
CrapClear, Defrag all that kind of shit :S

AND I AM PISSED OFF. So can PPppplllzz some1 help me

Argh! Damn this evil nuisance! It happened to me when I installed SF the first time. Uninstall and install again and it worked fine. Of course this IS different so...I'm sorry not being able to help much.

everytime i patch bf2 up to a new version the whole background of my bf2 main menu is weird so i just shut bf2 down and then start it again works everytime for me.

thats pretty messed up try a repatch with the full 1.22 patch. if that doesnt work atleast u already have the patch so u can reinstall....

I did do NOTHING no mods,hacks,cheats,extra maps. I had this after i installed bf1942 .

umm ok. I didnt mention u using those things but what ever. u still need to fix it, so hop to it. try the patch if that dont work then time to reinstall.

BTW if the bf1942 mod has an uninstaller id try to use it.

BF1942 is not a mod.... It is the older 1 u know ( battelfield 1942 ).

I installed BF1942 WW2 Anthology pack, i didnt have this problem, so i would guess its to do with bf2.

If you are still having issues, try these.

Shutdown BF2, try bf2 again
Reapply the 1.22 Full patch, try bf2 again
Reinstall BF2, apply 1.22 full patch, try bf2 again
Do a manual Uninstall of BF2, Reinstall BF2, apply 1.22 full patch, try bf2 again

1. Is your main hard drive anything other than C:?
2. Did you rename the Program Files or BF2 folders?

Still no luck? Have you re-installed both BF2 and BF1942? That should do I guess. BTW I have both BF2 and 1942 installed on my system, never had similar problems... Hope you fix it, good luck!

I have C:\ and D:\

No i didn't renamedth the battlefield 2 folder

Bf2 is at : D:\Battlefield 2

What happened was that your Localisation file was messed up. Mine was like that when i made a mistake editting in there.

I doubt you'll find the error in that file since you never went to edit it. I knew what i editted at the time this happened to me, so i knew where to look for the error.

Uninstall then reinstall BF2 (not BF942). That should work.
