Yes and yes. Active missions are based on the host, so it is generally better to have the person with the least stuff done to be host, otherwise they won't get credit for beating missions they haven't unlocked.SamTheMan wrote:

But if you want to level, it is best to go into a high level's game. They go off killing while you share in the experience points, you hanging out safely at the start points.OmniDeath wrote:

Here's a few new screenies for the upcoming Borderlands DLC expansion pack, Claptrap's New Robot Revolution.
The pack will require players to suppress a deadly Claptrap attack using the unique abilities of their chosen vault hunter.
The add-on takes place during a civil war between the Hyperion Corporation and the Claptraps, who are led by the cunning kung-fu Claptrap known only as Ninja Assassin. It'll contain more than 20 new missions and raise the level cap to 69.
The download will go live on September 28.
I've played through ~7 times and only gotten stuck when I've been rock-climbing or something like that...Blade4509 wrote:
I've never been stuck after playing through everything. I don't see what all the fuss is about.
That time we wedged ourselves behind that invisible wall was pretty funny.NooBesT wrote:

Didn't Pitchford say that they'll release a free patch later that'll equalize the maximum level to 69 for everyone, without the need to pay for a DLC?Sisco wrote:
max for me because there´s no way in hell I´ma getting that DLC
When the claptrap DLC comes out, they release the levelboost as a patch, rather than DLC...globefish23 wrote:

Content DLC would just confuse all the 14 year olds.Uzique wrote:
jesus, these guys have really redefined the art of releasing a game with threadbare content and then boosting its value by like 10x with DLC shit. modern warfare could really learn a lesson from borderlands...
Yeah, but it is level 61 iirc. And after that, what do you do? Do all the quests or jsut gun through the main ones in hope of better weaponry.FloppY_ wrote:

Well the easiest way is to use the glitch in the Knoxx DLC armoury...Sisco wrote:

As far as I experienced, Bosses and quest awards never drop good weapons, the good ones are either bought on a vending machine or found in red crates
The Rakk hive hasn´t dropped a single gun in all of my playthroughs that was even worth sellingFloppY_ wrote:

But to get better guns on vanilla just go kill the rakk hive, check shops and savequit + reload...
While not beeing very effective vs human opponents, shock weapons give awesome deathanimationsSisco wrote:

I think I just stick to the main plot missions. After all it is still somewhat fun to shoot stuff in this game.
