I don't understand why you wouldn't carry around a few decent-sized caps with you, I mean they fit easily in your breast pocket and their use when it comes to testing electronics is absolutely invaluable...the cost is so low and the possible reward is so high I don't know how you all can justify leaving home without them.

i just don't value business/economics as a university-provided course because, after researching into it as a possible degree for myself, it just turns out to be taken by the worst kinds of rich kid with zero intelligence. the main criterion for being able to take the course is being able to spend 3 hours a day memorising page after page of textbooks and graphs/equations. i don't call that 'intelligence'. even textbook-heavy subjects like maths and science have important analytical aspects and theoretical thought. the economics courses here are pretty much just a case of 'remember this shit from this textbook and go get a job in middle-management in Slough'.

no. degrees like that are bullshit and tabloid inventions. another often-quoted one is 'david beckham' studies.

there are some very esoteric and extremely vocationally-specific degrees, normally offered by former polytechnics... but no beatles.

I took it as a minor option in first year (because we had to pick one so I just chose randomly) and it was pretty much memorising equations and IS/LM curves etc, was very easy

You probably could get a degree on "the Beetles" but it wouldn't be from any sort of recognised university and wouldn't be worth the paper its printed on.

Okay, thanks. My cousin is going to do radiology at liverpool very soon and I probably could've asked her, but I doubt she'd know.
