When I am in game and I press prtsc it just takes a screen shot of the desktop anyway to get it to take screens of in game?

e: ok that might not work. Can't you just use xfire?

I've been reading around the internets that you can't use the prtscr key with any game that uses directx, it just produces a black screen.

Just use Fraps, I have it running in the background on startup and you don't even know it's there.

Okay maybe it is DX 10 and above, because I couldn't take screenshots with the prtscr key in BFBC2 it just gave me a white screen when I looked at it later.

Some games save your screenshot to your HDD for you. Pretty sure BF2 did. Which game are we talking about here?

I used Vista 32bit but now I use 7 64bit and my screenshots are black. With Vista it worked just fine.

Hell, CS 1.4 did that... I've set to see a game without a screenshot utility.
