It's too bad about that whole court case about suicide because it's a pretty good song.

hooooooly hell, nu-metal 2001 batman! is that an old song? or is the oceanic music scene a decade behind the west?

Well that is a song from 2002.
And you might want to check your genres. The way I see it this is just rock while something like this is Nu-Metal.

and ty, not all 'nu-metal' has a hip-hop element. some of it is just straight drop D barre-chord 4/4 stuff.

I have never ever known what nu-metal is or was or whatever. As I understand it Limp Biskit or however it's spelled was a nu-metal artist? Other than that, not a clue.
I think your stetching the genre a bit but I suppose it's a matter of opinion really. Shihad doesn't contain anyone wearing black hoodies and jeans with white sneakers, portfolio-book tats, stupid piercings in stupider places and Jon Toogood yells into the mic instead of at the floor. I suppose it's an image thing. Either way, Limp Bizkit, Blindspott, Linkin Park Slipknot... these are nu-meetal in my cook. Pacifier-era Shihad are just radio-friendly hard rock.Uzique wrote:

To be honest I think I'm just shocked by the implication comparing Jon Toogood, who is cetifiably an awesome person, with someone like Fred Durst or Chester Bennington.

We'll let the jury decide on whether Shihad is nu-metal or not. My vote would be nay, Uzique's would be yay. What say you people of Bf2s?

Is this not the most beautiful harmonica you've ever heard?
These guys have listened their fair share of Deftones. Speaking of which, I wonder how the band got musically so boring after White Pony. New producer or something?Ty wrote:

Maybe eh, there are some similarities. Blindspott split up years ago though. I was never really a fan but a mate of mine was. I do think their best track is this.Ultrafunkula wrote:
