They came with XLRs so I'll be using those when I get a DAC. The only problem with the sub is it's another 400, and I only work part time in the summer, it would be a big hit to my available cash..Sup wrote:
Bevo is learning. Make sure you have them connected with balanced cables when you get a DAC. Also they need around 200 hours of burn in, after that they will sound approx 25% better. Sub really gives another dimension to these, you should consider it.

No kidding, I have to drop the AC adapter out of my laptop so I don't get a shitton of static coming out of them. -_-.Sup wrote:

2GB Mushkin DDR3 1066MHz laptop memory.
Will go in my new Thinkpad that I'm getting next week
It's an SSD...although, I would get a bigger one for a laptop..but still.FloppY_ wrote:

I don't frickin care if it was a quantum datastorage device made of solid unobtainium... 60GB is just TOO little unless you still use DOS as your main OS...killer21 wrote:

This, plus he'll be running some distro of Linux, which doesn't take up any space, and I don't think he's going to be downloading onto it. 60GB is fine for a secondary computer.max wrote:
