i dont know the full details cause he never talks about money but i was led to understand from a very young age that several members of my family lost a mega amount of money in one of the schemes that came before ISA's and closed abrubtly because of the institution trading beyond its means. my dad doesn't use credit cards or any form of finance that relies on borrowed interests or placing liquid-cash or capital in the hands of someone else for a long period of time. ive never really asked about it but i've always been raised to be pretty 'keep it simple' with financial arrangements. i only have a credit card to make odd purchases here and there and get a good credit-rating.liquidat0r wrote:
