If I hold Shift while pressing the Space Bar, does that just, like, make a bigger space or something?

To be honest, considering you get stands with the KRKs thats an amazing deal.  Go for it!

You dont really need to be, my music is only V0, I have no need or desire for FLAC.
My only concern is needlessly spending on some high performance equipment that I wouldn't be able to utilize properly. If it's a fair upgrade from the others, I'd love to get them. Unfortunately I don't have enough knowledge on the subject to know the differences.

Although the size of the others kind of makes the decision for me.
They will be better.  The difference is totally up to your ears though.  But they are at a great deal, theyre usually $300 by themselves.  2 stands for an extra $30 is superb.

Getting very high quality speakers is not something you'll regret buying, trust me.  Between that and monitors, theyre a worthwhile investment.  $300 in speakers can last you years, not a lot has changed in audio in the past few decades.  Very future proof and will outlast any graphics card, processor, etc you have.
Estimated delivery August 9, 2010 - August 12, 2010

Funny how a lot of the reviews I read said they "lack bass" but have a lower frequency range than the other two speakers that I was looking at. I'm sure I won't be disappointed since I'm moving from $30 creative speakers..

Cheers for all the help winston, if this backfires it'll be your head can't wait to get them!

My 9800gt was running 75-100C, I cleaned the dust from it, and now it is back to 50-70C. My question would be is this okay, is there an aftermarket cooling fan that would do better on this card, or would I do well to remove the fan, clean and reapply thermal paste? Thanks.

50-70C is highly acceptable, 75-100C was a little too hot.
The 9800GT coolers are a bit of a pain of removing, but if you feel like reapplying the thermal paste go for it.
Buying an aftermarket fan wouldn't help that much, and its better to save that money for a new GPU.

G92s are fine till 100c. 9800GT is no exception. 70c is very good temperature, heck even my HD 5870 loads >80c.

My 8800GT (courtesy of burnzz <3) runs at about 85C-ish with the fan rarely going above 30%.

Thanks Bevo, but I don;t think I can run SLI with my mainboard. It is a Gigabyte EP45-UD3P.

Different cards, no luck with SLi.

How much of an increase would I see going from a 9800GT 1GB to a 9800GTX?

Good to know. Doesn't look like it matters anyway.

ed: It's a GTX+, I believe. Not positive.

When I built this system last year I did not intend on going SLI, else I would have used a different mainboard. I was lucky to get the build as it was. Definitely would not get a chance to build a new one right now since money is tight.

Not too high of an increase, it only has 16 more stream processors; I'd say about 10%-ish? You could look up a few benchmarks.

Yeah, I have no complaints about the board, it works great. If I had better cooling and was a bit more comfortable I would have my system OC'd.

What kind of processor and cooling do you have, Canin?

I have an E7500 with an AC Freezer 7 Pro, 4GB(only 3 showing) G-Skill PC2-8500, and an OCZ ModStream 700W PSU. Running windows XP.

You can correct the 3GB issue by installing Windows 7 64bit.
You can easily overclock that processor, the F7P has some pretty decent cooling capabilities.
Do you have an Xfire, MSN, or AIM? I can guide you through the overclocking procedure if you'd like, and also "give" you a copy of Windows 7... .

I have xfire installed, have not used it in forever.
