I guess I had the benefit of never watching the series.ghettoperson wrote:
It's not realism that was my problem with the A-Team, it just wasn't as good as the TV show. I'm not sure what it was exactly though, it just strikes me as when you Hollywoodify some of these things it just doesn't work. Perhaps it was because everything was a bit too big budget and overly complicated? I'm not sure. The final battle bit being a good example of that. Despite my initial concerns about the actors I thought they actually were all cast quite well, and did a very comparable job to the original actors.
Just watched Inception last night. It was awesome, I really liked it. That said, it didn't quite live up to all the hype if you ask me, but was still very good. 9/10
Fighting 8/10 not bad ok plot, maybe if the plot was better the movie could've received a higher score.. certain portions had decent acting but overall the storyline seemed kind of repetitive wasnt anything new...
"forgot the name of the movie" anyways the 13 old kid from Holland gets teleported back to 13 or 14th century and then he helps these kids escape a slave trade.. 8.2/10

Dinner for Schmucks 10/10 funny, good for a laugh type of movie.
Putting on 'Batman: Under the Red Hood' tonight. Not expecting too much, but I could be surprised.
'Batman: Under the Red Hood'
7/10 for Batman movies. Good, but a bit disjointed. No complaints about the animation or voice actors; just how the plot fit together.

The A-Team. 7/10 Decent entertainment.
I loved the Reginald Barclay reference.

The Road
8/10 - I read the book a few years back and remember the general feeling of despair teetering on the edge of utter loss and death. The movie conveyed this very well while maintaining the slivers of humor and joy that kept the story moving forward.

Classic Pixar. I loved it. It had funny moments, very few sad parts, and some of those "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" parts we all love so much from Pixar.

"people in ny have a general idea of how to drive. one of the pedals goes forward the other one prevents you from dying"
Inside Man - 7/10
I enjoyed it, it was an enjoyable film, it's not going to blow your mind but it's a fun watch.
Adaptation - 9/10
Meryl Streep and Nicolas Cage were fantastic as you would expect, Charlie Kaufman is now without a doubt my favourite screenwriter.

Memento - 8.5/10. - Good movie, but I had to see it twice to really understand it. First time I saw it I was like... wtf.
The Crazies - 7.5/10. A lot better than I expected but also very predictable. Was like the 28 Days/Weeks series, but not as good.
Exam - 9.5/10. Excellent movie. Makes you go "HOLY SHIT NO".
Inception - 10/10. One of the most thought provoking movies I've seen in a long time.

There's a special edition dvd available that plays the whole movie in the correct order.Poseidon wrote:
