I just learned something recently. Apparently in California you can be 18 and have sex with somebody 2 years younger. I thought it had to be 18 and 18.

Also, why are some porn sites 21+ ?

In a lot of states the age of consent is 16

What I find just as funny is you can legally have sex at 16, but can't watch it till you're 18

The ironic thing is that some Bible Belt states have lower ages of consent than less religious states. For example, the age of consent in South Carolina is 14.

Correct re:here, pornos are R18. Solicitation was legalised a few years ago, though street prostitution definitely hasn't died off. There are a few brothels but they are pretty low-key. The "massage" parlours haven't changed their names.
