ok i have been playing bf2 for not very long but i have gone up 5 or 6 ranks i just brought special forces is there anyway i can get the weaopn unlocks i already missed from the previous promotions.

Just play a round or two of Special Forces and Log-off. When you log-in next time they should be available to you.
play a bit, wait until your stats are updated, the log out and log in again and you should get the unlocks.

thanks guys i'll try it
I had saved an unlock and today after reinstalling and going back to get it it said undefine any ideas I'm at patch 1.22.
