SO as I mentioned earlier once I get t2 large energy turret for my apoc, I'm planning on going HACs, is this a good idea or should I head somewhere else? Maybe something that is more beneficial to a broader range of ships or fitting or something?

It's gonna be a while before I get my crane anyways, but I wanted to start watching which items are moving here in our stagnant null sec market so I know what to be bringing back and forth.
What kind of stuff do you guys think would be popular (and not too ridiculously expensive so that I can afford the up-front costs)?
I was thinking top tier named propulsion mods, T2 shield extenders and missile launchers (since we're mostly caldari) , maybe some medium blasters, etc. Maybe rigs?

That's 2 propulsion things which usually sell, more so the MWD. For weapons I dunno, I see Blade flys a Zealot, if there's a few Amarr pilots, might wanna get some Heavy Pulse Lazors II / Focused Medium Pulse Lazors II.
And since there's a few Caldari pilots, 'Arabalest' Heavy Missile Launcher & Advanced 'Limos' Heavy missile launcher; might well with with those who are flying Drakes but don't have the T2 Missiles trained yet.
Oh worth trying out cap boosters too, the named ones are pretty good! I'd get a few medium and heavy ones.

Yeah blade flies some Amarr but he is definitely in the minority down here. Still, worth trying out on buying a few and seeing if they sell or not I'm sure.
Cap Boosters are frickin huge though, and I'm not gonna have a TON of cargo space in this thing. Is the margin going to be high enough to justify the m3?

I mean the cap booster modules, not the individual charges. There's probably thousands of them down there already.

dont do the propulsion mods - since the loot rebalance they're cheap as shit. I started out trading missile launchers+ballistic control, now i do faction ammo and nanite paste. rigs always work well too.

I thought about faction ammo and I have heard about nanite paste, but I dunno that we are hardcore enough down here yet for me to be reliably selling that stuff. I haven't seen any nanite paste being dropped out of our deaths and not a ton of faction ammo.

I taught the propulsion things are great, isn't the point of them being cheaper in Jita or wherever and selling them for slightly higher in 0.0 the whole idea? The thing you're trying to do FM, it's probably not gonna be a get rich quick scheme unfortunately. Why not try small amounts of many things, I really do think the skillbook one is worth trying out though.

Yeah but Irish even I have two of those named AB/MWD cruiser mods each just from ratting, and I have been selling them too. If they drop down here it's really, really not worth it.

yeh dropping isk in high end rigs and faction ammo can be risky - it took me 2 months to shift 600m or so of rigs because some tool was undercutting me (well below his own build cost)
start out with common mods for NPC'ing, and check how much competition you've already got etc. When i look for a new product to work on i normall spend an hour or two trawling the regional market history to identify something good

the only advice I can give you for nullsex trading is to spend some time going through modules and item and find what has the highest price volume, and then invest in those that move the most. Also it might be better if you made an alt for this as to be really competitive you need to have really low fees, which means having accounting and broker relations to 5 at least. my trader alt has 1,333,505SP points just in trading, and there could be a lot more if I wanted to have more orders open at one time.
edit: I assume you will be hauling mods from high->nullsex so gap doesnt really come into play.

Would my 2m~ SP Drake fitted something like this be able to put up a fight?
Fit a Warp Disrupter instead of the Amp thing, and use an MWD and put a Damage Control on it too, remove the last shield Power Relay for a Power Diagnostic system as you probably won't fit that all on powergrid.
And 2 Invuln Field II. You'll also want Medium Defence core Field Extenders to add to your buffer. The purgers are more PVE for the Drake. PvP needs field extenders.
