If you want to go for a wrench then tokens are your best bet. You can create one token and then just combine it with a single other item every time to recraft the token.Trotskygrad wrote:

Of course the chances are that you'll still just waste them all, but you'll get more chances.

So Drunked_F00l and his Source OP friends have figured out when the wrenches drop and all have them by doing a single craft when the time comes.

Did I read somewhere that the Golden Wrench will be for a new game mode?
Could it be that it's some sort of viral distribution thing, like the Ghastly Gibus which you only got by killing someone wearing it?
(Which initially only where the people snatching one from the limit supply on that secret blog page.)
Valve should have just VAC banned them all, instead of making his website semi-official and giving DF a community weapon after that Idling Tool fiasco.
