they are getting away from the extended jams. theyre much closer to a rock band than a jam band. you can label them however you want, tho

ig i never said they were a bad band... just a jam band. every single one of their live performances is different, no? they have extended improvisations and long-grooves, right? that's a JAM BAND. to improvise a performance and to extend riffs or grooves out in performance is the dictionary-fucking-definition of a 'JAM'.
