Well, a little bit of everything, like thinking too much and fucking up when there's other cars around, figuring out how to turn tightly enough not to hit stuff, remembering to put my blinker on when switching lanes, etc.-Sh1fty- wrote:
I'm sorry but I don't quite understand what you're having trouble with.
Is it driving and turning, like staying in the lanes and controlling your vehicle, or parking, backing up, switching lanes, driving when there's other people?
My driving was on a curvy road with nobody on it. So it was really easy. I'll be getting my drivers permit soon now that I'm in California.
Mostly I think it's because I'm thinking way too much, just like the girl problems.
Yeah, my spacial awareness would otherwise be great like it is for everything else, but it's weird on cars when you can't see the front or back of the car itself. Makes it a pain in the ass when you're trying to park on the curb or when driving through neighborhoods where people park on the side of the curb in the street rather than in the driveway(even if it's a quadruple car driveway with only one fucking car in it already).mtb0minime wrote:
Seems like j is having trouble with spatial awareness, which is odd because men are naturally gifted with that (I assume it evolved from the hunting days of cavemen, and also contributes to why guys are better drivers and probably enjoy videogames more).
You shouldn't worry, though. Sometimes people get it right away, other times it takes a bit more practice to get the hang of how big the car is and where you're at on the road.
Just please don't go out to your driveway and take measurements of the car's dimensions and then study and memorize them.
