Actually it's rated as the top modern university in the country by the Sunday Times guide - which is pretty much the benchmark. He's also one of the top experts on fascism around. I checked up on him rather than the university he teaches at - which from my very brief check just now shows it as being a pretty good university.Uzique wrote:

It's not untrue - just a bit deceptive. I would've gotten away with it too if it weren't for you pesky elitists....
Either way, the guy is rated as one of the top experts in defining fascism (as far as 5 mins of Googling shows) and the article he linked to explains the issue very clearly and he is pretty clear that lowing is wrong.

dude i could be a prep-school teacher at the Dragon School and say "I teach in Oxford". doesn't mean a thing. there are tons of educational establishments in and around Oxford town that have nothing to do with the official colleges of the University. Oxford Brookes is ranked at like 60 out of 120 in the UK by most overall guides; "best modern University" and "oxford professor" are two VERY misleading props to a flimsy bit of third-party sourcing.
