Nice, pretty well all my shots are full frame.Wallpaper wrote:
If you mount it on the equatorial mount you could do some very sick shots . Are you on full frame or crop?
EDIT: more from my new 55-250

Ah that makes sense, 50mm on crop gets star trails pretty fast, what camera do you use most?
Nikon FE.
Was thinking about upgrading to an FE2
Shutter priority sounds pretty exciting, might tip me over the edge though.
Or go hardcore and get a fully manual FM2.
It does have an internal meter, which is kind of cheating.
Recent stuff has been done with a Fuji Finepix 250 though

Dilbert with the hardcore shit yo. I have a feeling my photography classes this fall will make me pick up film too. Good shot Burnzz, sexy mountain.
Hoping to get some bugs tomorrow, went out today and got a bunch of fail, I need to mount some LEDs or something on the end of my lens so I can focus properly

The best challenge is to take a basic camera, 50mm lens, one roll of film and see how many good (and different) shots you can get out of it.Wallpaper wrote:

Loving the old school film cameras Dilbert!
Nice shot. I never actually got around to going inside the Aria, just wandered around the rest of City Center.

i can't wait to go back to the Bellagio . . .

more jumping spiders, youre welcome eifa
Pretty good shot Camm, but the sky could use a little more saturation imo
Taken with the normal macro set up, 50mm 1.8 reversed on 2 sets of tubes, home built diffuser and extender. F8, 1/250th, ISO 200, pop up flash compensation +2

No, I don't need an attitude adjustment. You just need to fuck off.
Just tried reversing a 50mm lens

I like the watch one. Did you reverse the lens wide open or did you stop it down?
Not sure what you mean by "stop it down"
I just held the lens to the camera body and tried to stay as steady as possible.
Been meaning to ask this: Where can I get a ring to attach the reversed lens to the camera?

search EOS reversing ring +the filter thread size on ebay. You can stop down the lens (stopping down means making the aperture smaller) by mounting the lens normally, selecting the desired aperture, holding the depth of field preview button and removing the lens while you still hold the DOF button
PS: while youre at it, get some EOS extension tubes too, theyre like $7 and you might find them useful

we poured the concrete for our drive way then, and i scratched that in. i thought it was cool how the brush and finish marks were still in the cement, 13 years later . .KuSTaV wrote:
