If you mount it on the equatorial mount you could do some very sick shots . Are you on full frame or crop?

Ah that makes sense, 50mm on crop gets star trails pretty fast, what camera do you use most?

Was thinking about upgrading to an FE2
Shutter priority sounds pretty exciting, might tip me over the edge though.
Or go hardcore and get a fully manual FM2.
It does have an internal meter, which is kind of cheating.
Recent stuff has been done with a Fuji Finepix 250 though

Hoping to get some bugs tomorrow, went out today and got a bunch of fail, I need to mount some LEDs or something on the end of my lens so I can focus properly

I will have to try that some time, after I borrow my moms Olympus OM system... Dont want to have to pay for film and processing, but I guess it helps you think more about what youre taking.

search EOS reversing ring +the filter thread size on ebay. You can stop down the lens (stopping down means making the aperture smaller) by mounting the lens normally, selecting the desired aperture, holding the depth of field preview button and removing the lens while you still hold the DOF button
PS: while youre at it, get some EOS extension tubes too, theyre like $7 and you might find them useful
