Good, uplifting story...

But shitty show.
The nice thing is to support the guy in the wheel chair, and be proud of everything he has done to overcome adversity.

The real thing is to realize that while its not his fault, TV is a visual medium and once the novelty/charity wears off no one wants to watch a slightly weird looking spazzy guy in a wheel chair.
