I've often thought about sticking those little plastic clip thingies, that you nail on to the wall to guide cables along, to my desk for that purpose.
Like, a little plastic loop that fastens shut when you nail it in. bout the size of a small coin (5p), or w/e.

RAID 5 is pretty secure. One drive goes down, you just pop another one in and it'll rebuild itself. Only downside is you need dedicated parity drives.Winston_Churchill wrote:
