Looks like there's an ion cannon in there.
it's an orbital laser from what the previews, Q&As and demos have stated...{M5}Sniper3 wrote:

Combat looks as dull and clunky as it was in FO3 tbh...
We haven't even seen any gameplay yet and you say that?Sisco10 wrote:

But yeah expect it to be VATS and similar to FO3.. which i see no problem with..

Judging by the trailers shown here so far, one can assume.FloppY_ wrote:

Was the main reason for me to never finish it.
i rarely ever used vats
Me too, cause it felt misplaced. Not using it made aiming almost obsolete though, which pissed me off even more. With the rarity of bullets, especially in the beginning, you were practically forced into vats.krazed wrote:

And blowing someones leg off with a .22 is a bit off...

Hopefully the PS3 version will actually work this time. My main game save in FO3 didn't last much longer then the main campaign and 2 add-ons before it became unplayable due to the vast amout of bugs that popped out of nowhere.
Gameplay from G4.
M4/M16
Tommygun LMG
Pump-action GL
I'm looking forward to it
It appears brown is the new green

Anyone else disappointed by how many models and textures have been reused? Not to mention how dated some of them are beginning to feel...
Yeah I'm afraid it wont be the visuals that keep this game going...OmniDeath wrote:

but tbh I loved exploring stuff in FO3.. like the Dunwich building or the other goodies that were hidden around the wasteland...

Oblivion is miles ahead of Fallout 3 in that aspect.RTHKI wrote:

anybody who liked fallout 3 should like oblivion as well. It's not WoW or Everquest. It's like a good Fallout 3, with loads more content, mods, quests, etc. And it's not ugly.RTHKI wrote:

I hated oblivion, I barely made any progress, it appealed to me so little.. really dislike medieval games...
