yea the intro for BF2 i think is a bit lame
they should make BF1942 again, with more maps, more vehicels, and some more things with graphics that take advantage of shader model 3 .

Rearding camera work, cut, music, tense and choreography BF2 intro is godlike. The matrix director couldn't have made it better. Excellent.
Many fantasy game intros are also great too. I think of the Blizzard games and a mmorpg i can't remember the name of.

the g-police intro was great! loved that game, never managed to finish it...
i thought diablo 2's intro (and pre-chapter cinamatic, narrative bits) rocked too, even though i don't like fantasy much

I didn't have internet in my room with 1942. So yeah I didn't get to play that online. But SP was actually really fun in 1942. Back to the topic, I think 1942's intro was really cool. Can't think of any other games at the moment.

just thought of one that i think might be the best ever but i cant remember the game, i saw it months ago and it was awesome, it starts out with a group of "space marine" type guys decending on an open-roofed platform into an amazing battle with these crazy-evil-looking baddies, long coats and goggles if i recall...someone find this for me because i cant, was certainly set in some future but gritty and realistic too

The intro for BF2 is more of a trailer, showing all the things you can do in the game, it's very well done but it's not a good movie for an intro.
