Bin Laden has no interest in removing the Saudi family.
afaik AQ/Osama/Al-zawahiri issued fatwas against the saudi family...  they always say"we are fighting here, but we have an eye on the arabic peninsula and jerusalem"..

maybe am mistaken...
Well, I'll put it this way...  It would be rather strange if that is true, because the Saudis fund Wahhabism -- the same school of thought as Bin Laden.
America has a huge interest in the struggle for Saudi Arabia's future, and oil is only part of it. Although the latest terrorism appears directed mainly against the Saudi ruling elite, not Westerners, Al Qaeda is a sworn and deadly enemy of the United States. The idea of an Osama bin Laden in control of one-fourth of the world's known oil reserves would be a nightmare come true.
Along with this..

Well, I guess that means that the primary difference between Osama and the Saudis is that Osama wants everyone to live under Sharia Law, while the Saudis only enforce it on their own people.

We may consider Saudi Arabia an ally and a business partner, but they still adhere to a pretty strict and fanatical version of Islam.
