No, that was fucking awesome.

@Mok: no, 2007 was best.

It's not allowed in the rule book. By the F1 rules, he SHOULD be penalised.

Sad thing is this is the most biased and corrupt sport on the planet. If a Brit wins by cheating, nobody says anything... If someone else wins by a slight dodgy move then everyone is up in arms and call it LUCK. It's a fucking joke.

@ Mek - If they continue to fight like this, it's gonna end badly. For Massa, that is.

huh, if the light are out on the SC, the leader has control over the pace. They do this all the time but Button did it very extreme

Wait, Sébastien Loeb?
How the fuck could you hate that guy? He is like the most perfect champion ever. He is insanely talented, amazingly humble, has a very sporting attitude and is incredibly loyal...

Agreed, and at least Alonso and Button are entertaining.

Word on the street is that they're heading for 1.5L Turbo's from 2013 onwards, as long as they don't cut down the revs any lower than they are right now, I'll take that

Back to the 1.5L turbos of the 70s please. 1000bhp per litre...pure madness

It was the 80's, and they'll never go back to the days of the 80's. Nobody in motorsports will. Whether it's NASCAR, or WRC or especially F1. Way too much emphasis on curbing speed and improving safety, the 80's sucked, but the motorsports back then must have been awesome.

Group B rally.... just pure win.

Puts today's WRC to shame.

So Spanish GP coming up, this race is historically terrible and will be again unless it rains.

Exactly, which is why nobody is commenting

What is up with Red Bull? They are just so fast compared to everyone else. I hope Webber beats Vettel, like he has been in qualifying.

Adrian Newey, imo.

Regarded Webber, everyone knows the pole position wins in Barcelona, relax.

Well yeah not much going on as expected, still don't know the details with Hamiltons tyre failure though. lol, Spanish fans were going apeshit. Especially cos Alonso was behind him, especially cos it was Hamilton, in Spain. Even I was giggling when I saw that.

And then Massa flying into the back of Chandhok's car, and then Alguersari just swerving right infront of him and taking him out, lol wtf.

I was hoping for Red Bull to just fuck up again, well at least Vettel did sort of

Monaco next. With all these cars and these slow new cars and this very tight track, this whole race is just going to be funny.

I'm certain that some engineers got fired when Ferrari found out that the damage to the front wing of Massa's car resulted in it lapping faster

With the pace increase on the Ferrari with the fixes, he will.... but it's gonna be hard.
He would have been pole if he had the chance to qualify, and would have won it. He's the best Monaco driver on the grid.

Hrm, I've always regarded Kubica to be the best Monaco driver tbh

Who's won it twice? With 2 entirely different cars? On back to back years? Alonso.

Kubica has never won it, he's been 2nd and 5th in two years running, which is pretty damn good, but Alonso managed to win on both those occasions.

I wonder whos right... Ross Brawn or Stefano Domenicali? From listening to them, I think the old master Ross is right. The race did not finish under a safety car, therefore Schumi takes Alonso's place.

With the exception of the safety cars and a few Alonso overtakes, on cars 3seconds slower than his, this was another Barcelona: a procession race.

Schumacher's pass was legal. A little cheeky, but legal all the same.

Alonso started last and finished 6th (counting the illegal overtake by Schumie). That's one hell of a fucking drive.

We'll see if it's illegal or not, but the race officially finished with an SC, therefore it is. No matter if the SC car pulled in or not.

Unless they've changed the rules recently, I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to pass before the finish line after a safety car is removed from the race. This would apply to all laps btw, not just the finish.
