So what else do you other then what I said? You engineer any parts? You make any parts? You don't have detailed instructions to use those parts? You don't answer questions concerning said parts? Explain why military personnel can't be trained to do your job. I can except a good argument. Or just say I am dumb, and everyone will know you have been out debated again.
Already told you anyone can be trained to do anything, including signing shit like you do. No I do not engineer parts, i am not an engineer. Already explained the process. I see no reason to repeat it.

I never acted like a "make the fucking plane".  I told you exactly what I have done, and now do. You are the one who made such implications remember "bub"? Making claims you know more about aeronautics than me, when really all you are is some lawyer who sits in a meeting and makes sure everyone dots their "I"'s and crosses their "T"'s. What a hero you are Mr. Armstrong.
I was defeding my experiance with the costs associated with YOUR job. Way to concede my point. A point you called me a dumbfuck for stating. Private contracters are NOT a necessity, and millitary COULD do your job. You really do put on a show for losing. BUB.
You said you knew more about aeronautics than I did, sorry, yer a pencil pusher, a bean counter, come to grips with that. You do not know dick about airplanes. This is why you are a dumb fuck, for making like you are something you are not, then trying to argue it. Not sure how you not knowing dick about aviation or any ones job in aviation makes me a loser. I guess that is the lawyer in you coming out.

And again, like I said, ANYONE can do ANY job if they are trained for it. Or were you born a blood sucking lawyer? Training has got nothing to do with it. Itis the process that is taken to get a system on line for any agency or unit.

Is reading required to be a lawyer? Again, if this is what you think then you are not in aviation as much as you appear to wish you were.
I was just trying to figure out why you insisted millitary could not do your job. For that I need to make sure you weren't more then a "mechanic".
because if you are in the military as a front line troop, you are not employed by the company that has designed, built, tested, modified, retested, and produced. You work for the customer that buys the new system. That is why.

and again your "just a mechanic" is not an insult.....You ever do much flying? How about your wife and kids, they ever get on an airplane? You are welcome for the safe aircraft on behalf of "just the mechanics".

You have no idea what it takes to be "just a mechanic" on these aircraft as evident by your posing.

Sure if you are talking aobut handing out basketballs at the gym, slopping food on a tray etc....but frontline troops are not involved in the designing and testing of new products, they are trained in the maintenance of that system once it is installed on their aircraft.

THey have military personnel working with the project over seeing its construction etc... but they do not build it or install it.

No I said my name was on a lot more aircraft then yours. I was just defending your accusations I knew nothing about the industry. There is  lot more to it then mechanics, and lawyers. You might know more about being a mechanic, but YOU know fuck all about costs. Considering I was talking of costs, you pointing out you know more about the craft really is a mute point.

I "won" because you susseeded my point. I"ll point it out again. For the third time. Maybe now you can come to grips with it. It is NOT essential for a private contracter to do your job. That's ALL I was saying. At first you insulted me for it, then you admitt it. Now you still go on and on.

As far as anyone being able to do any job, well, that is false. But a job where you have detailed instructions on what to do, yeah just about anybody could do your job.

Back to the OP
The film might in fact help the cops. Considering they are trying to catch criminal activity on tape. If they succeed, they don't hurt a cop, they catch a criminal.

If a civilian can learn to bolt stuff onto aeroplanes then military personnel can learn to do it too, which is what they did until quite recently, and still do in many countries.

Sorry, you may be a lawyer, but I am not your witness. I have nothing to prove to you.

You are the one who claims to be in aviation, yet turns out you are nothing more than a pencil pusher signing contracts. If anyone had anything to prove it is you.

You have no idea what it takes to troubleshoot and repair aircraft, or even install new systems on an aircraft. Get back with me when you have a clue and can at least discuss aviation intelligently.

Yet again, you think aircraft maintenance is just bolting shit on, shows nothing except your complete lack of knowledge of aviation or aircraft. Or the processes involved on getting new systems to the troops. Like our pencil pusher, get a clue, learn what you are talking about, then join in a conversation.

I do know he know he knows nothing about what he claims. That is a fact.

Always wonder why people are posers on the internet. Who are they trying to impress?

This discussion is NOT ABOUT AVIATION. It is about COSTS. And even if it was about aviation, the same princials apply to a car mechanic. They "troubleshoot" per instructions, they "repair" per instructions, and they "install" per instructions. So you have to get more certs., big deal. You act like I know not of what I speak, yet you keep admitting I am right. GG.

You made a comment that you knew more about aeronautics than I do, you didn't say you knew more about "costs", (I won't even mention you don't even deal with aircraft, but airplane parts)...This is clearly false, as you know nothing about it.

There is a lot of interpretation and thinking outside the box in dealing with aircraft. It is not rare to follow the FIM and NOT solve a problem. But hey, I know you know that being in aeronautics and all.

Calling you a dumb ass might mean I agree with you in your world, but in the real world, it simply means you are a dumb ass, and now add also a poser.

Calling me a dumbass is not where you agree with me. That was just you acting like a kid. It was when you stated you troubleshoot, repair, and install. What I was saying you did all along. Only you innitially said I know fuck all about it. Then you say thats what you do.

And when you follow the FIM and can't solve the problem what do you do? You alter parts? Or do you report the issue, and get a response on what to do next? Because if you do any more then that, you better be more then a mechanic.

I NEVER stated I knew more about aeronautics then you. Please don't put words in my mouth. I stated my name was on more aircraft then yours.

If you had said, we troubleshoot and repair systems, you would not be showing how little you know. You didn't say that. I did.

Mechanics in manufacturing companies install systems as well as troubleshoot and repair them. You also obviously have no idea what it takes to troubleshoot a system in order to find the faults, especially those that do not present itself readily.

Mechanics will ask other more experienced mechanics for help in solving problems, might even have to go back to the manufacture for a solution. A lot of times the manufacture will issue bulletins about known issues with a fix for them.

One thing is for sure, none of us has ever called a fuckin lawyer for a parts supplier to troubleshoot an aircraft.
