But Halo combat evolved was awesome too. Especially for audiences who hadn't played the games. The flood would come as a surprise.SEREMAKER wrote:
I see making a game2movie can be difficult ......... you got a 10+hour game that you're trying to cram into a 2 hour movie
they don't want to invest into a trilogy bc if the first flops then they are shit out of luck on the next 2
Halo ( if they follow the books for the 1st trilogy ) has potentional to be a incredible movie - if Microsoft backs with the production cost and say Legendary Pictures ( Batman Begins & Dark Knight ) handles the disturbution and overseeing - Bungie and Eric Nylund over see plot and scripit and Peter Jackson directs .................. you could be looking at an epic movie ................. also the 1st set of trilogy base off the books and the 2nd set of trilogy base it off Halo 2 & 3
theres alot with the halo universe they would either have to just mention real quick or just skip for theater time .... but on the directors cut for blu-ray, go all out and have everything on therepace51 wrote:
And then you have games like MGS4 that are both games and movies!
A halo movie would be good but long... or might leave out some much-wanted parts.
have you read the Halo books (The Flood; First Strike; The Fall of Reach)pace51 wrote:

Probably. Never played it, but read the reviews. Its like a more toned down yet hero/villain version of prototype.BeardedHobo wrote:
InFamous is a game that feels like a comic book, so it wouldn't be too hard to adapt to a movie

Uwe Boll is game enthusiastic. I just can't stand to watch his movies.SEREMAKER wrote:
there would be more trust for the genre of games2movies if the directors, plot writers & producers were more game enthuists
its hard to toss a project in someones lap that doesn't have the love for the project
I think once we see the next generation of directors and such, then we will see better quality of games2movies and comics2movies

Rather mediocre, standard horror flick. Not so close to the games either.unnamednewbie13 wrote:
Oh, and still haven't watched Doom.

I know it isn't. I was a real Doom fanatic, which is the main reason why the description on the back of the box put me off.Sisco10 wrote:

But the first person sequence goes down in the history of awesome!
Worth to watch for that alone.

No offence, but watch the dragonball Z movie and try to say that.=NHB=Shadow wrote:
It really depends on the game and also the director of the movie with budgets and the actors but overall they have been getting better over time...
