I think there's a thread about this already. The other thread states that if hit in certain spots then your plane will go spinning but not blow on impact, which is what this is. You go in and hit a certain spot, you start turning, hit the corner, and then there's a lot of bumping around, because it's trying to spin some more. I'm pretty sure this is closely related to the other thread.
