nothing wrong with religion when it's kept to yourself or shared with people who want to discuss it or be apart of it. but do not come to my door with it or send me stuff about it or try to convert me to it. my faith is in my family and friends not someone else's idea of what god is or should be.

I generally swing bewteen agnosticism and aggresive athiesm depending on my mood and I do generally judge someone by their beliefs as harsh as that sounds. The only 2 Americans I've met in England came here to search for the desendent of Jesus and had narrowed it down to my town centre for some reason. They were passing out books...

That's just a bad example though, I'm sure there are sane, articulate members of a religious group. Maybe even sane and articulate members of America too.

Between 'moral compass' and all the wars fought in the name of religion and all the pedos in dresses I'm not sure TBH.

Up to the middle ages maybe religion was handy for keeping the peons in line, stopping them buttsecksing their cattle etc.
Since then can't really see the point.
