Mine doesnt seem as bad as yours, to me it looks like the text spacing is different (I know there is a technical word for that, kerning?).





I just realised they are low quality jpgs that ruin any comparison there would have been but I just cant be bothered going back and taking them again.

Well that should be easy to check, negative the image and perhaps tweak contrast

Extract archive to prog files/steam/skins, restart steam, go to settings, choose skin

I mean't how (what software) do you use to create custom skins

Notepad and Photoshop I presume. I only edited some font colours for more contrast. The structure of the skins is quite understandable, just look around in the skin files.
