no, theres some good MMOs out there

in wow, you get to the top level really easily. then, you have to raid for gear so you can get to the next raid. you do that 20 times until you get all the gear. and then what?

every MMO has that structure except for sandbox-open end ones like EVE... and i don't think anyone can write a compelling argument for that.

you're being reductive to the point of absurdity, so as i said, im not going to properly waste my time with an intelligent response.

yes the leveling experience is easier now, more streamlined and quicker than most Korean grindfest-MMO's. if it took any longer you'd complain it was a harsh treadmill. WoW has been out 6 years now, most people have leveled 2-3 characters, on average, to the maximum level. They have added 2 expansion packs that have extended the leveling journey by some 20 levels. of course it's quicker, easier and more streamlined now. nobody would ever want to fucking try another character if they knew they had a 2-year mountain to climb to even get to experience the end-game. What would the game developers do when it came to releasing new raiding content if they knew all of their players were still too busy grinding away, 12 hours a day, to just reach the required level? don't be silly

I've seen a few matches actually that exhausted all the maps resources and people basically sold themselves to death trying to scrap together units. It is a fun game, mostly for LANs though I think.

yeah, I think that was to speed up matches so you couldn't build uberbigbase with impenetrabledefense.

It would be better with an unlimited resources mode tbh.

I agree with the Sim City series being up there. My favorite was Sim City 3000 (Unlimited). It had the most bomb jazz soundtrack and you can download it for free somewhere.

I got it when it came out but it kept crashing on me for some reason and was unplayable. I can't really comment on it although it looked very promising.
