Verizon's Incredible is Android 2.1. T-Mobile's HD2 is WinMo 6.5. Sprint's Evo will be? The core hardware isre almost identical for the three.
CapnNismo wrote:I would get the Incredible. HTC Sense is the fucking shit. Coupled with Android 2.1/2.2 (I honestly cannot remember what version the Incredible has), you can't go wrong.
I played with a friend's HTC Legend (close cousin of the Incredible for GSM countries and it beats the Nexus One) and that phone is amazing. Get it. To hell with Motorola.
Wait, the Incredible is a WinMo phone? Fuck that. Get the Android. (What the hell device am I thinking of that VZW got that is the new Android superphone?)

konfusion wrote:edit: Not to mention, a snapdragon (1GHz) processor vs. the droid's 550MHz one.

I would probably agree with this if the phone was going to be used in Europe. As it is, AT&T and T-Mobile are both very poor carriers, so I would say buy Android and buy Sprint or Verizon. I would go Verizon simply because they literally are everywhere and you can't really go wrong with them.

DroidX is pretty fancy.8mp, HDMI out, 720p video, directional mics, 1ghz OMAP(OHH SNAP!!!), 40 gig, list keeps going.
Might not be as fancy, but Motorola quality is excellent. Had a Motorola once, would buy again.
