Yeah i read about this a while a go. I cbf to fiddle around with this shit again. I can't say i noticed a difference in bf2 and i doubt it will do much in bc2.

yeah after trying it it didn't do anything ....I also read somewhere that in the bc2 exe theres no mention of either of those commands so it for sure wont work.

it's a dupe.

hitbox whines are going to become the dominant theme of bc2 - it's something they haven't fixed since bf2. shit engine.

the problem with bc2 is that the engine is coded and designed for the console-platform (obvious part is obvious).

anything above 24-players and the server net-code starts to struggle. hitbox detection drops off, CQC becomes pretty luck based with all the lag, and the entire server game-quality tends to go to shit. shit like this is why guns like the CG M2 will always dominate. huge splash damage and fast trajectory vs. bullets that disappear into packet-loss and hitboxes that don't register.

i also fucking hate how incompetent the team are at balancing the game. the balance swings pendulously from one flaw to another; they nerf the M60 and then something else steps up as the clear top-candidate. the skill curve and skill ceiling in this game is both ridiculously unreliable and stupidly low. it's a ragefest. great atmosphere, visuals, style, physics... yes. actual good FPS gameplay? fucking atrocious, to be honest. beneath the fancy tricks it's a fundamentally poor-ass shooting game.

I was thinking the same thing. Before the patch I had no complaints but after this huge nerfest I feel like the whole game has gone to shit.

maybe one of the patches exacerbated the problem. i don't know. i haven't played it enough to compare.

I was playing on my clan servers this afternoon and a pair of guys came in with 73 and 77 pings respectively (on the leaderboard in game). For some reason I was spiked to 200+ even though I'm normally around 100. Needless to say, none of my rounds were registering on them and they easily maintained a 4.something KDR as T88 wielding medics. I had so many blood spatters that didn't register that I was raging pretty hard

Ya, this sums up what happens on a regular basis.  I notice it way more after this last patch even though it happened before as well.
