So was interested what your favourite type of conquest map was ?

I personally prefer Arica Harbour for the close quarters with no armor and just play with an assault kit shooting people behind walls with my nubtube, (iknowiknow). Which is in my opinion the Strike At Karkand map of BC2. However I do also love panama canal for the medium - long range and of course it gives you a chance to play as engineer. Then there is Atacama Desert, this map is just awesome on conquest for some Tracer Dart + Carl Gustav <3 and in my opinion is a relaxing map. Although I do enjoy the others and they all have a very nice atmosphere and are in there own way unique. I would have to say that Panama Canal is for me, my most loved and enjoyed map.

What about you ?

Also, what BF2 map is your favourite most similar too (gameplay and surroundings)

Not Arica Harbor? Laguna Alta? Laguna Presa? Panama Canal?

To be quite contrary, Atacama is one of the few maps in this game that really feels UNLIKE a BF map. It's small. It's linear. Ton of vehicles, including imbalance of power between vehicle classes (e.g. heli vs. weak AA).

I take that back.... It feels alot like the "Freeway" map from Armored Assualt expansion, which was a pretty weak map compared to the others in that pack.

Well, AA is hardly weak now. Buffed AA cannon + speed of the light tracer = unhappy pilot.

I like Atacama because it is big and has both open spaces and narrow corridors (fights in the ship FTW). It should get a Bradley/Bakcha though. Hate the tanks, yuck.
