I'm probably gonna get 2-3 more in my lifetime... and I'm saving them for things that have incredibly deep meaning, and they'll probably be on my back or arms. Actually, a lot of the reason I just got this one is because my dad and I share a huge love of the Grateful Dead and he just got out of the hospital on the 10th.
So really, it doesn't really matter to me if someone like RTKHI and the anonymous internet warrior who karma'd him doesn't like it. Tattoos are self expression. If you get a tattoo, it shouldn't matter what people think about it. If you wanted it, if it means something to you, then that's all that should matter. Anyone who gets a tat to cater to other people completely defeats the purpose of getting one. One the after-care sheet the tattoo place gave me, it says "Tattoos are the one of the most dynamic examples of self expression ever created". And that's exactly it right there.
