No, I don't need an attitude adjustment. You just need to fuck off.
You said that each sport has 1 thread. I showed that it doesn't - it deosn't matter if those threads are in the sports subforum or not, because if people post in them they will show up on the new posts (first page). The only way the several "real world facts" topics are getting on the same (front page) is because some people cannot hold back from posting nonsense in them. You don't like a topic, don't post in it. We got the sports section because there were a lot of posts about sports and it's easier to index. It has nothing to do with too many sports threads on the first page of new posts. If no one posted in his threads they would disappear. Yet instead of you (collectively) bitching at the people who are bumping those topics to the front, you bitch at the OP for creating the threads and the mods for allowing them and awm'ing spam.Ultrafunkula wrote:
We're both wrong actually. Those examples show posts from god knows how long ago which ain't valid for the present day. I'm wrong with the part that there are more than one individual topic (races/footy matches) of the same thing on one page in sports which was the example here. Don't get me wrong, I'm not pissed/ranting at you here Sorry if it looked that way earlier. Just frustrated about that it's dumb to get several topics of the same stuff on one page. That's why we got that sports section so ppl who didn't like sports didn't necessarily have to read about all kinds of sports on the front page. Place is evolving and eventually going in the right direction as I see it.
Ok, so why not index those fact topics under something after they started appearing like mushrooms during rain? You didn't point only at me but, if you haven't noticed I'm not that often screaming in4b/bullshit/[ ] threadworthy or something in a topic that I'm not interested in. I myself really try to avoid that. Today it just went a yard too far for me and others.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:
