Cmon, I'm allowed to be smug, it's the only part of my computer which is better than yours
Finny, I'm so sorry...

Spoiler (highlight to read):
The PC350's use the same drivers as in the HD595's
So do the HD555s , except they have better casing, better cable, better air intake and more comfortable padding.
I though you were talking about 555 ICs. I was like... WTF? how did James use those to mod his headphones?

I think I win... until max comes in

I'm sure I'm missing a couple HDDs in there too.  I've also lent 4 or 5 more 1.5TB and 1TB drives to friends/family.

I'll put those 1 and 1.5TB disks in a RAID5 too, once all the data is copied to the 10TB array.

So right now you have an E8400 + HD4870?
If you want to upgrade you may want to look into finding a used LGA775 quad core. Buying a new one is a bit of a waste now. As for the GPU, you'll have to step up all the way to a 5870 to get any decent improvement. If you can pick up a cheap 4870 you could go crossfire I guess

Meh I'm doing a new build but moving from a similar system...

5850 is far better valued and still a significant upgrade from a 4870 tbh

5870 is too expensive for the small improvement over the 5850 imo

TY, I've been thinking of frosting the CPU block, GPU block, and clear fan for a while now... just cant bring myself to take sandpaper to those blocks without knowing it would turn out perfect... I do think it would probably work nicely with all of them having LEDs though, like ice blocks.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

No, I haven't. They're just too expensive. Especially when I got this one for free.

After one year of having it unlocked... I finally locked my CPU multiplier...

Finally I can be sure I am getting the most of my stock CPU... 6.0x is slow as fuck compared to 9.5x

Well after a year, I finally enabled speedstep. Doesn't really matter in terms of performance if I surf the webs at 2GHz or 4GHz....

I'm all inspired to clean my keyboard, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a totally new species of bacteria under the keys...
