Yes, I also recall that, and it makes no sense to me as a character motive. They certainly gave enough of a fuck to be sharp as tacks for the first half of their face time, so the least the writers could have done was give them a BELIEVABLE reason to go get eaten. It just seemed way too uncharacteristic.

Exactly what I thought. That they then topped it off with the girls seeking shelter in the "Dust Off" ride or whatever it was called made me scratch my head. I mean, come on.

I just saw Green Zone.

Action was meh but the plot was nice. There were WMDs in Iraq, we just got there late.

My Dad hates America, he's the opposite of me, so you can imagine the shitstorm he gave me after that, (we saw it together, we go see action movies a lot).

I saw it and thought the movie was just meh, and the plot was kind of lame because it's not factual...

I'm at a loss of words... Beatifull & epic movie....
I'm buying that DVD Blue Ray.. Screw it if I don't have a Blu-Ray player yet!

The only one bad thing about it is that I now know I will never experience such true awesomeness in my life

I just pre-ordered the BluRay

3 Disc edition... including DVD (hope it's the DVD copy of the movie, but it might just be some extra content)

Avatar was meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh for me, I called the ending (who was gonna die, circumstances of death, battles and results of battles) when I saw MC (Main Character) interact with the Navi chick.

It was just... silly. And all the CGI was excessive and distracting. It wasn't a bad movie but to me it seemed like the biggest things holding it back were the main things that the fangirls (i.e. Floppy) were cumming over.

CGI made me feel like I was playing a game lol. Especially after you've played BF2 and that stuff... with MMGs in air vehicles... I was thinking nubs like the entire battle scene. Oh and Physicspropkill for the dude who got smushed in between the explosivepallets.

I dunno, call me a fangirl or what not... I loved it...

Characters were all likeable except the corporate ones meant not to be,,,

Well I wouldn't really call it any sillier than LOTR or any superhero movie with whacky powers or goofy physics. It also has a significant amount of scientific grounding (the planet, environment, machines, spacecraft etc etc) which a lot of sci-fi movies rarely pay attention to, and it has a good balance between the action and non-action sequences. Sure the story isn't the most original, but nothing really is these days, and I'd still call it one of my favourite films. Didn't see any particular problems with the CGI or 3D either, especially when at times it was difficult to differentiate what was CGI, and what wasn't. Far more impressive than what any game will churn out for a few years, maybe even longer.

But, each to their own.

While the western movie / 70's soundtrack combo was entertaining at first, the action and stuttering dialogue kept it going. When that paused about 45 minutes into the movie, I lost interest in the film. Luckily it made some kind of a comeback just 10 minutes before the end, but it wasn't enough for a higher grade. Boss Nigger has nothing on Shaft, Coffy or Super Fly.
