Oh mate, was an amazing day. It topped the final against your lads just cause it's Harry Redknapp and all the players that left because we became shit, ad we beat them. Epic times epic times. Took me from 7 til 12.30 to get home though1927 wrote:
Jak - Bet you had a wicked day. Winning that semi vs Barnsley a few years ago was my best football moment, that ot topped by watching the team walk out in the final, that got topped by Chopra scoring in the 90th+ the other week vs Swansea.
Good on you for going on good on them for winning. This tale imo deserves a thread of its own. Make one if your going to the final mate. How many people here have been lucky enough to support their boys in a Fa Cup final, at the ground?
Me.
Good luck Pompey in the final, I always go for the underdogs when im neutral.
Thats the biggest bummer with Wembely; the location. Great for London teams and maybe Reading, Luton, Watford, Ipswich, Norwich, Gillingham etc etc, but a right fucker for the rest of us. Even after Barnsley I was ratty about getting back on the bus its a nightmare journey.
Now you have seen Wembley and the way the fans mingle outside, imagine the fun and games we can have if its Cardiff v Swansea in the play off final?? Fucking hell. I reckon it be the biggest policing operation in the uk, possibly ever, for one day.
My only criticism I can have on Pompey is your songs, you only have the one (that I have heard). Your fans deserve this, and the players and staff, Avram Grant is very popular with your fans, rightly so.
Well done Portsmouth.

You guys had the Millennium stadium as numero uno for ages!
Imagine how much of a bitch that would have been for everyone, there's much less links to Wales than there is to London, and at least over here there's the London Underground etc..

Totally agree, kind of. We only got the one road into it. I agree with a lot of people that when they re-developed it they should of moved it.Mekstizzle wrote:

Wembley is in the wrong place, Birmingham should of had it, not North London.
Cardiff was very grateful for the time the FA games came to us. I remember driving to Reading one fa cup day, the traffic jam started in Cardiff (obviously) and ended in Swindon, it was Arsenal and someone. I think our 'local' area has more to offer than Wembley's, as a city Cardiff is shit hot, but yeah I agree, its even harder to get to than Wembley.
Who needs more than one song when you can't hear the other fans anyway ? haha1927 wrote:

You're playing way better than them though....I expect you'll bring on van persie and walcott then score a couple.....could be another epic match.
Btw I love that 7 days remix....listened to that all the time back in the day

Holy fuck Danny Rose, what a debut. North London derby, I don't think he;d had 5 touches before he rifled that volley in, has got to be a contender for goal of the month (atleast), I bet he's on top of the world right now. Bale had a cracking match too and topped it off with his goal.
I was watching it in 3D for the first time at a pub by me, was pretty cool I must admit.

Bale is fucking incredible this season.
He was just like this before his injuries and getting dropped, like most guys he needs a regular starting place. I'd play him higher up the pitch on the wing, he can be the next Giggs but better at free kicks.bennisboy wrote:

love it
What's 3D football like, how does it all look? I still don't get how it would look, if you get what I mean. What would actually be 3D?The Sheriff wrote:

The players ball etc all stand out more, It's like HD but clearer in a sense? It's kinda hard to explain, check the skysports website, there's a tool to find your nearest 3D pub on it. Best thing I can tell you is to see it for yourself on saturday, they're showing the Manchester Derby in 3D, kick off is 12:45
I've seen a match in 3D and it is pretty cool, but the pubs that show it are rammed. Have a look for tomorrow, it's the Holts pubs I think. Or at least it seems to be in Manchester.
♥
ohhhh ten minutes to go!
93rd minute...jesus titty fucking christ
Fuck me United, they scare the shit out of me. Praying Spurs win later but tbh I can't see it happening.

Today has been a good day
♥
Cardiff securing a play off position, City slipping up in the race for fourth, Spurs overtaking City, Chelsea losing, fuck me this has been an awesome day of football for me. Only negative per say was Wrexham losing
United deserved the win today anyway, City just didn't seem to want it enough

Yesterday was crazy, get in Spurs.
Anyway, from today on the BBC website, this is why I think Arsenal suck:

Wow, that's terrible, have they even got a regular Englishman in the first team.
Almunia
Clichy, Vermaelen, Gallas, Sagna
Nasri, Rosicky, Fabregas, Song
Van Persie, Bendtner
They have Walcott, who hardly starts, Campbell (lol), Wilshere (out on loan) and then 14 year olds like Cruise, Eastmond etc.
Arsenal fans, does an englishman regularly start in the first team?
