I'll say 1-3 just because I don't remember eating any but probably did a long time ago..
I'm pretty meticulous when I eat an apple but I can't rule out the possibility so my vote is 1-3.

8+ my girlfriend always cuts up the apple we're eating into bits and deliberately places the piece with the sticker on close to me so I pick it up! Works every time
1-3, although my mother used to make apple jam so could be hundreds.
