i know that everyone h8's them lol but they cant be all that bad, yes they bring hundreds of new bugs and glitchs(way to go EA) but they also bring other good stuff like in the new patch vehicle drops i mean that should b good should'nt it??? well wot do all u guys think??

As I said in another post, would the game be better if it was still at version 1.0? No. Admittedly you could argue that some issues should have been sorted pre realease but with online gaming there are sooooo many variables.
Patches are a necessary evil, and new content helps with that. EA are never going to be able to please everyone, i still have reservations about vehicle drops being a good idea but i'll wait and see how it's implemented before moaning.

If u are to compare to the million other comp games out there i dont think we have it that bad, myself i seldom encounter any bugs that affect my gameplay in a grave way ..... the red/blue bug is one of the few really irritating ones and i cant say i`ve noticed it more than 3-4 times.
All in all i`m impressed by Dice and EA because this game rocks, as of now there are no real alternative that even comes close.

So far I love the patches - they done nothing but improve and vary the game
Hell even the mistakes made the game more interesting ~(playing against the PKM, super AA etc,)
If that wasnt fun (even if it was good for the game longterm) and didnt add a whole new dynamic to the game, you need to get out more

1.12 was the best patch ever, less bugs and stuff, was awsome until here comes 1.2... 1.22 has the most bugs
I dont care , as long as i can play BF2 i,m happy with it.

I guarantee that the 1.12 patch was the worst in terms of bugs and mistakes and happened right at a time when EA was making sweeping personnel cuts

fixing bugs is a must, but

Patches to fix bugs are good
Adjustments to close certain game play loop holes is good
Changing game play and in many cases over compensating (like the Blackhawk door guns) is bad!!
I'm not really sure why DICE/EA feels the need to radically change things. Close gaps sure. Make it widly different to point where you've broken as much as you've fixed, come on...

1.02 was good, it made the game a lot less laggy and fixed some issues. 1.03 was the best patch ever. It did nerf the blackhawk, but it gave us a free map and many needed fixes. 1.12 was alright, it just made the game laggier. 1.2 and beyond have been horrible excuses for a patch.
I agree with VeNg3nCe^. 1.03 was the best patch. 1.3 is going to be the worst (see sig)
