BTW Irish soccer pundits in the post-match discussion basically reckon this is the end of the Ferguson era. "It's over Bill." "They ain't got the readies".

Beware of Mourinho. That is all.CameronPoe wrote:

It's funny how it can all change so quickly. 3 nil up, along with most of Old Trafford, was thinking we were in for an exhibition or at least a comfortable win like with AC Milan. 50 minutes in I was on the line of shitting myself literally then turned suicidal when Robben scored. What the fuck.

I must say, as much as I hate to say this, I agree with this.Jenspm wrote:

This Barca team isn't invincible, saying there's no way in hell Bayern could if they get there beat them is foolish.
Wrt the Fergie comment, I don't think he'll pack in at the end of this season, I think if he reaches title #19 then he'll go out on a high, I would absolutely love to see Mourinho be the next man at the helm of United though. I also think within 3 years there'll be a new manager at United.

It will be a sad end to Fergie's career if he stays on much longer, Man Utd have an aging team and no money to spend. And that's even after selling Ronaldo and (stupidly) Tevez. Things can only go south.

United didn't get any money for Tevez, not spending £25 million on him hasn't done us any harm, if he and Rooney were still at the same club, neither of them would have been as prolific this year. The field isn't big enough for them to both perform at the levels they do for United and City.
And not forgetting Tevez is playing for City who, let's be honest, aren't the best team in the world besides their spending. At times City don't work well together since it's their first season with all these new players, so it isn't hard for Tevez to stand out there IMO. I don't think he'd be scoring as much at United.

Darn ... Bayerns powerplay and patience in the second half paid off ...
I can see ManU when Valencia, Rafael and Nani plays better together to take it all next season

Rafael played Ribery off the park before he got sent off, if only he'd scored when he went on that run, then getting sent off wouldn't have mattered
Have fun in the Europa league next year...Ultrafunkula wrote:
