So I was soldering today and making myself a cable and when I finished I went for a nap as I only slept for 4 hours today. And then I suddenly woke up not remembering to unplug the iron from the power socket. I instantly ran out in my Crocs to the cottage like the mad scientist from Back to the future and it was still plugged in. Luckily nothing was close enough to the iron to catch fire. Someone could get severely burned also. Thanks to God it worked out well. Lesson learned.

Man Im fucked. This bloody digital switchover the UK is getting has already happened in Wales. Ive lost the shitty reception channels I had. Bought one of them digi box's and cant get any channels. Got one of those aerail sockets hanging out the wall but cos I have no roof arial so its void. I was using a tv top arial/indoor thingy before, watching sport was hard, 2 men and 4 ghosts went in for both balls if you get me? Landlord said before he wont do it, housemate who pays the bills says I cant afford it, then when I show her its £5 a month for sky multi room she goes all reluctant.
Any ideas how I can make this socket thing work? If I get up into the loft will there be in theory everything I need to go except the roof aerail and the wire to, I dunno some box on the wall that sends the tv shit down thru wires and magic and then that pops out that box in the wall?

Im gonna have to committ the housemate who pays the bills then we square her up. 2/3rds of last year I didnt get paid, and I live on cash, so if I cant give her the bill money she goes off her tits, fair enough. We got sky (basic) in the tb room, its a 3 story town house and to take the sky lead fromn the dish into my room without going 15ft through the house, they need a roof team or something. landlord dont wanna pay for this even tho the subscripton is just a fiver.
