Doing something for the sake of doing something is not 'progress'. Considering most of the proposed legislation does anything but progress this country along the path it should take, I'm quite happy with the obstructionism.

People need to learn that the less our government gets done, the more personal liberty we as a people maintain. The system was designed from the start to work at a glacial pace because the founding fathers knew this. The 'we want it now' people that seem to have become so prevalent in this country are the same people that racked up five and six figures of debt to 'maintain' their lifestyle.
