MaxD - Maximum damage done by weapon within MinR.
MinD - Minimum damage done beyond MaxR
MinR - Maximum range for for MaxD
MaxR - Point at which damage reaches MinD

TPK - Time per kill assuming all rounds hit.
RPK - Rounds per kill assuming all rounds hit.
%Mag - Percentage of magazine required per kill assuming all rounds hit.

These charts are assuming an unarmored target (no body armor). If the target is wearing body armor it negates the magnum ammo and you would then use the first chart.

If anyone is curious, the pump actions with slugs and magnum ammo are one shot kills to 21.6 meters.


Lastly, on hardcore mode servers, everyone only has 50 health or 62.5 with body armor. On normal servers it is 100/125. These charts were designed with normal servers in mind. *unsure with patch*


If anyone wants the damage at range formula it is:
=ROUNDUP(100/(SUM(($B3-(IF(F$20<$D3;0;((IF(F$20>$E3;$E3;F$20))-$D3)/($E3-$D3)))*($B3-$C3))));0)

To answer the question more thoroughly... At 20 yards with the M95 you would deal 84.761 damage to the person with non-magnum or 105.952 with magnum ammo. If they're wearing body armor you might as well just hand them your dog tags if you don't plan on whipping out the pistol

The AUG and the M416 do the same amount of damage? I'm pretty sure according to the in game charts, as well as some of the charts floating around on the web the AUG does a little bit more than the M416.

Thanks for the effort to compile these charts.  They pretty much confirm what hours of gameplay imply: XM8, PP2000, M60 and 1911 are all rape machines. 

However, I still feel like it's hard to capture the little perks of certain guns on paper...some just "feel" better than others, even if they shouldn't be as good according to the chart (for example, the 93-R essentially feels like its shooting rubber bullets mixed with blanks when I use it, even though it should be similar to the other, non-1911 pistols).



IMO...

PP2000 should do slightly less damage considering its 40 round clip. (Kind of silly that the fastest killing SMG also has the most ammo)

LMGs need an accuracy nerf while firing when you aren't crouched. (Medics should not have better run-and-gun capability than "Assault" troops)

Assault rifles should do the magnum ammo damage as their standard damage, and noobtubes could then be slightly nerfed while keeping the class balanced.

The PP2000 is offset by the large amount of hits it needs for a kill. The LMGs I can agree on. Nothing more disheartening than seeing an entire squad full of M60 wielding medics running towards you. The assault rifles are actually better than I had originally posted in this thread so they don't need a buff.

Alright, I have no idea where you're getting your numbers, but you now have the AUG doing less damage then both the M16 and the M416, when it actually does more. You also have the M416 doing the same amount of damage as the M16, when it also does more. I haven't bothered to check the other guns for mistakes, those are just the first ones to jump out at me.
