Britain expels Israeli diplomat over Dubai passport row

Following the inquiry (and investigation by the Serious Organised Crime Agency) into the forged British passports used in the murder of founder of the militant wing of Hamas, the foreign office have decided that the Israelis were to blame and have taken the quite extreme action of expelling one of their diplomats from the country.

It could be done. It's just a case of revoking their diplomatic status and then arresting them. Easily done - but no call for it in this instance.

They are representatives of their countries. This is not anything to do with him, but is very much to do with the country he represents.
