I'd say the rigs you build are comparable to ferraris

dual loops is gonna be awesome.
Have you decided what is going to be on which loop. And are you going to series or parallel the GPUs? EK is coming out with a SLI /Crossfire bridge for their blocks that looks good, check it out here:

page 4 of that thread has pic of a prototype in it.

for now I'm just going CPU --> GTX295 --> Rad --> Pump --> balance container. Bit of a bitch to fill though. This past year has taught me a fair bit. Improvement time.

When the other parts get there I'll run
CPU --> Rad --> Balance --> Pump
&
GTX295 --> GTX260 --> Rad --> Balance --> Pump

once the GTX480s arrive, I may need to rethink everything. I was thinking of putting all GPUs into one loop and the CPU into its own. Maybe add the GTX260 to the CPU loop if the GTX480s run too warm.

Having 2 GPUs right next to each other is going to be problematic too (that's where your link comes in <3). I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Dual version also made.
If I can get my hands on that, I'll go that way.

Going series is probably going to be easier than dividing the flow between multiple cards. I used to run dual water cooled HD4870s. Worked very well in series.

Pics and such soon. Won't look as awesome as yours though <3

If you do find your having flow rate problems, apparently running them in parallel will alleviate some of that. All of the crazy math geeks over at xtremesystems do some complicated formula to tell you that temps will be higher, but everyone that does it reports up to 4 degrees lower temps.
All you need is 2 D-plugs from bitspower and it looks great. Heres one that Malik has:

Mine looks so crummy in comparison I cba to do a whole rebuild when a bunch of new stuff is arriving soon.

28% OC on the core, 35% shader and 21% on memory. I'm pleased

Quick question for a build: Which would be better, an Intel i7 750 or the AMD 965 X4? Trying to decide on the build I am putting together and could use maybe some real-world experience versus benchmarks.

I was wondering the exact same thing, and came the the conclusion that i5 is better.

You do mean i5 750, right? Or i7 860?

Yea, i5 750. That was a typo on my part.

I am just trying to judge the price/performance here... I could save an easy €10 by buying the 965 over the i5 750 and then maybe another €30-50 on the motherboard to go along with the 965 in comparison to the mobo for the 750... Decisions decisions.

The price difference is much smaller than the performance difference you get for going i5 instead of 955.

i5 ftw.

So... had a block in my water loop somewhere and the water in the cpu block started boiling.... needless to say, it shut down due to overheating. Had to tear the whole thing apart and am re-working the whole loop. getting some cable sleeving done at the same time.
