well this is a debated subject and i personally think they should be allowed to adopt. there are children that are still without homes and if a couple can provide a family for them, why not?

What's gotten into you? If gay couples produced a hot chick like that (esp. triplets), I'd definitely want more gay couples around.SEREMAKER wrote:

Absolutely.

It's not that expensive if you take into account the tax breaks and grants from state and local governments. Anyone adopting a child is eligible for the tax breaks and those that adopt special needs get all kinds of help from local governments. As a side note, I would not like to see the process become much easier either. It is not a spur of the moment decision to be made and therefore needs to be drawn out most of the time. There are exceptions though.lowing wrote:
Anyone, or couple that can provide love and stability to a child should be able to adopt. This is also one institution where I feel govt. should subsidize. the entire program.
Too many loving and able families out there have the means and desire to adopt a child but are kept down by the unbelievable high costs involved. A child's chance at stability and quality of life should not be road blocked by the inability to pay off the agency holding him. In my humble opinion it is no less than human trafficking..
Couldn't have said it better myself.FEOS wrote:

They aare engaged in the BUYING and SELLING of kids, and nothing less. Where money is involved you will always find politics and corruption. A childs life should not be dependant on the paying off of another.LividBovine wrote:

I have a problem with Homosexuals adopting kids, but I do feel it is ok because the need is there. Yes, I would be for ending the right if the need was not there. I feel the same way about single parents. Maybe even more so. Yes I have a narrow mind when it comes to providing the "best" available family life for a child.

I see, so conservative couples are less likely to love their children.Pochsy wrote:
Sure. They may even prove more loving parents than straight couples given that most gay couples are committed to liberal ideals. If the child does not turn out to be what they expected, they would likely be the most accepting.
"May' is key. It obviously varies between couples.

that was JESUS that said that too. Well said Jesus!Little BaBy JESUS wrote:
I see no problem with it. In fact the choice to have a child in a gay relationship (adoption) is likely to be a more considered decision since theres no possibility of an "accident" then they must really want the child.
