The developers got one in their hq, they use it for demonstrations. Saw a vid of it and it seemed to make a lot of fun.

Ok well The first time I loaded it up it froze the whole machine at the end of the beta introduction video, the second time it froze the entire machine while loading a skirmish against the AI.
I'm not sure if its worth trying to load it a third time.

You think tanks are overpowered? You just need to hide at guns in forests, you also need anti tank buildings for defense. Last time I had a game with the bot my tanks were dying with these things so I had to use airpower often.FFLink wrote:

Ok yeah this game REALLY doesn't work.
I managed to get through the loading by alt+tabbing the game, and when I go back in, it seems to be on a 'paused' screen, and has various buttons like options, resume etc. It's all frozen, and every few seconds it plays half a second or so of sounds and moves my mouse slightly in the direction I last tried to move it in. Moving the mouse above 'resume' and clicking madly while waiting for the next period of movement just caused my computer to beep loudly in complaint.
I'm in the minimum specs so maybe they should just edit their minimum specs. It seems to 'run' while alt+tabbed. Maybe I should have a look at the options.
Edit: Just lowered the video options and it loaded perfectly fine. There must have been a setting somewhere my computer REALLY didn't like. Don't you just love auto detecting settings.
