The game was decent but (and don't hit me) I think Plants vs Zombies blows it out of the water.

Plants vs Zombies is definitely more unique, and I did really anjoy it when I played it, but once I played through the whole thing and realise how incredibly easy the game is, I had no reason to play it again. Whereas DG's challenge mode medals and Steam Friend leaderboards kept me playing it on and off all year.
I didn't like it at all. It's a dumb upgrader TD with an obnoxious camera. I've seen a lot more depth in Warcraft 3 custom maps.

I don't understand how this is a game worth paying money for.
I think I got the first one in an indie bundle. I fucking love TD games. I still play custom Warcraft 3 tower defense games (love me some old school Green TD and Green Circle TD). The first Defense Grid was pretty unappealing and left an impression of "meh" on me. I'll wait until this is released before I throw any money at it
